Christmas Tree Bread
Create this bread recipe and shape into a Christmas Tree for the holidays!
2 cups Judee’s All Purpose Gluten Free Bread Mix
1/4 cup Judee’s Superfine Caster Sugar
1/2 cup almond milk
2 tbsp yeast
1 tbsp softened butter
Pinch of salt
Green food coloring or matcha powder
Judee's Red Sprinkles
Judee's Green Sprinkles
Judee's Royal Icing Mix
In a separate bowl, microwave almond milk until it is warm and add in the yeast
Combine the rest of the dry ingredients and when milk mixture forms bubbles add it to the dry ingredients
Add in the rest of the wet ingredients and add green food coloring or matcha powder until dough forms
Set dough aside and let rise for 30-40 minutes
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Separate dough into 8 parts and flatten one of them for the star. Use a star cookie cutter to cut the shape out. Shape the rest into balls or rolls and one for the base of the tree.
Assemble the tree and use a milk or egg wash. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until lightly browned on top and let cool for 10 minutes.
Use royal icing to drizzle on all over the bread and add in the sprinkles
