Coconut Flour Low Carb Fathead Pizza Dough
Make a Low Carb Fathead Pizza Dough with our Coconut Flour. It is naturally grain-free and gluten-free. Keto Friendly: Low in carbs and rich in fiber, it packs 6 g of fiber per 2 tbsp serving! Coconut flour requires a high ratio of liquids to flour.
1/4 cup Coconut Flour
1 Large Egg (or Judee's Whole Egg Powder Reconstituted)
1 1/2 cups Shredded Mozzarella
2 oz Cream Cheese
1 tsp Baking Powder
Whisk coconut flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
Combine shredded mozzarella and cream cheese in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat for 30 seconds and stir to fully combine. Heat for another 30 seconds and stir again.
Add egg and coconut flour mix to a food processor bowl and pulse to combine. Then add the melted cheese mixture and run the food processor until the cheese is completely blended into the flour mix.
Remove dough from processor and press out onto sheet of parchment paper. Dough will be sticky. Cover with a sheet of plastic wrap (to avoid sticking) and roll the dough out to 1/8" thickness.
Par-bake at 400° F for 8-10 minutes. Remove from the oven.
Add sauce and low carb toppings and continue baking until the toppings are the desired doneness.
For Cold Veggie Pizza Appetizer:
Fully bake pizza crust dough for 10-12 minutes and let cool. Spread cream cheese on crust. Top with veggies such as cauliflower, broccoli, spinach or red pepper and enjoy!
