Pumpkin Levain Cookies by Kaylie's Healthy Recipes
Makes these delicious gooey chocolate filled pumpkin Levain cookies by Kaylie's Healthy Recipes using our organic spices, cornstarch, and super fine sugar.
½ cup of Judee’s Super Fine Baking Sugar
1/2 tsp of Judee’s Organic Ginger Powder
1/4 tsp of Judee’s Organic Ground Cloves
1/4 tsp of Judee’s Ground Nutmeg
1 tsp of Judee’s Cornstarch
1 cup butter- cold & cut into chunks
1 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
3 cups all purpose flour
1/3 cup pumpkin puree
1.5 tsp ground cinnamon
¾ teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon pink salt
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
In a large mixing bowl, add sugar and butter and combine.
Add the rest of the wet ingredients and mix.
Add dry ingredients gradually into wet ingredients, combining consistently until just combined, then add chopped walnuts and chocolate chips- leaving out 1/2 cup chocolate chips on top.
Form cookies (about 4" wide by 1" tall) and top with more chocolate chips, then set on a baking tray lined with a silicone mat or parchment paper.
Bake on 410F for 8-9 minutes or until golden on the edges. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
