In this Q&A session, we're diving deep into the world of baking with the incredibly talented Dalissia, a master of fantastical fondant creations and celebratory cake designs. Dalissia shares her experiences, tricks, and passion for spreading joy, one slice of cake at a time.

What do you like about Judee's ingredients?

"I was having a hard time getting my fondant completely dry and when I would take it out of the fridge, it would get super gooey! Therefore, I searched for a product that I could add to the fondant to help harden it. That is when I discovered Judee's CMC cellulose gum. I added a little powder to the fondant before I would make a topper and it worked! I hardened quickly and it did not get gooey when I took it out of the fridge! I was instantly hooked. They are high-quality, reliable ingredients you can count on!"

What's your favorite holiday or event to bake for?

"This is a hard question because I generally find any excuse to make a cake haha! But if I had to pick, I would say Christmas. There is just something so magical about that time of the year. There are endless designs for Christmas and it is always fun to create new ones!"

What is the most rewarding part of baking for you?

"I LOVE making people happy! Call it a character flaw, but I genuinely do. I love to make people's ideas come to life. I bake a lot of kid's birthday so I love seeing the look on their faces when they see their cake!"

WOULD YOU RATHER: Bake a cake with complete creative freedom OR bake a cake with a specific design request in mind?

"I always love a blank canvas because I love being creative and thinking of my own design but also happy to have an inspiration picture as well! I work either way and both make me happy!"
