Quick Teff Flat Bread
Make Teff Flat Bread like a pro using our Ivory Teff Flour.
1 cup Judee's Teff Flour
6 tbsp water
1/2 cup Coconut oil or butter
4 eggs (can be reconstituted from our whole egg powder)
1/2 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
Optional: 4 tsp Apple cider vinegar (makes it more fluffy by interacting with the baking powder
4 tbsp Coconut oil, Olive oil, or butter for frying
2-4 tsp dried herbs of your preference (including basil, oregano, and rosemary)
1-2 tsp dried spices of your preference (including cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove)
1/2 cup milk of choice or reconstituted
1/4 cup maple, honey, or rice syrup
Preheat a flat pan with 1 tbsp coconut oil, olive oil or butter on medium / high for each flat bread made.
Beat all ingredients together with a fork until it thickens and mixes thoroughly. Use the savory add-ins or sweet add-ins as desired.
Let the mixture stand for a minute.
Pour ¼ of the bread batter in the pan and fry on one side until it rises a bit. After 2-3 minutes, flip and repeat on the other side.
If not consumed on the same day, reheat by toasting and topping with oil or butter to keep hydrated.
