Tell us about yourself and your baking journey...
"Baking has always been a creative outlet for me and five years ago I chose to pursue it wholeheartedly through starting a home bakery that I named The Crassy Cookie. My initial menu consisted of standard drop cookies, buttercream sugar cookies as well as cupcakes and other sweet treats. Over time, my best-selling item, a cookie sandwich, evolved into a menu of its own with a variety of flavors. Currently my menu is exclusively devoted to cookie sandwiches, and I have recently expanded The Crassy Cookie into a blog where I share timeless recipes that celebrate tradition and exceptional flavor."
What do you like about Judee's ingredients?
"I appreciate that Judee’s products are gluten-free and there is a wide variety of products to choose from for my baking. I eat a mostly gluten-free diet and it’s nice to have different options in my pantry for myself and others that I trust are truly gluten-free and high quality."
What's your favorite holiday or event to bake for?
"This is a tough one! I love baking in fall when it’s crisp and cozy outside, but I think the Holiday Season is such a fun and joyful time to celebrate our favorite cookies and treats we wait all year for. Baking is one way I can show my love for others and the Holiday Season is the perfect time to bake for those I care about."
You've created 45 different cookie sandwich recipes! How do you continue to find inspiration for new flavor combinations?
"I like to take traditional flavors and expand on them with contemporary and trending flavor concepts. I’m also really inspired by the seasons and what encompasses each time of the year."
